How can I be contacted by eBay about a dispute they closed?
Good evening, I sold a painting through eBay in France. DHL broke it during delivery (both the glass and the artwork) and informed the buyer, who accepted the package anyway. After the 7 days I had to file the reimbursement claim, the buyer wrote to me and sent me the photos (now too late). In short: I lost my painting because it’s now broken and I didn’t even receive €2 in reimbursement. AH, and on top of that, if I want it back I have to pay the shipping costs myself. I’d like to contact a lawyer.

Mentore2 years agoI think getting a lawyer will only increase your loss. For damage, the carrier is unlikely to take responsibility; they’ll always tell you that the cause of the damage is inadequate packaging.
To get in touch with eBay customer service, you can use the link at the bottom of the page that explains how to file an appeal.
