How to reopen a return request

Hello, I bought a fishing rod that arrived broken in two places. The package was picked up by my son, who unfortunately accepted it without using the "accept with reservation" option. I contacted the seller for a return, and I sent photos of the broken item. Afterwards, he asked me to send a photo of the box, which was damaged too. The eBay program wouldn’t let me add any more photos, so I closed the case in order to start over and add all the photos, but now I can no longer open the return case. What can I do?

Mentore3 weeks agoOnce the return case with eBay is closed, it can no longer be reopened; if the item is not as described, seller approval for the return is not required, and in fact photos aren’t even necessary.
Now you can only seek compensation through your payment method: PayPal or credit card
