How to find out if it’s a scam
I’m selling a coin. A man made me an offer and I accepted it. He contacts me on my email saying that he has made the payment through eBay, but this message pops up:
To ensure the security of both parties, your payments have been temporarily suspended until we can verify the Apple gift card voucher for 200.00 EUR and the proof of purchase from you. Once the information is verified, we will release the funds. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Just to clarify: this transaction will appear as unpaid on your eBay app until we have verified proof of your gift card. Once the verification process is complete, the status will be updated accordingly.
