comment deleted on negative feedback left for the seller
I made a purchase from a German seller who, after I had paid for the car part, sent me a deposit request. Immediately I asked to cancel the order "but there was nothing I could do". The deposit request was specified in German at the end of the page described in Italian. After lengthy discussions I had to give in to the "blackmail" and send another €50 for the deposit, which I will never get back, since it is not worth it for me to ship the old part back to Germany because it would cost me several more tens of € without any certainty that I would get the deposit back, given how the gentleman behaved with other users.
In short, after receiving the catalytic converter, I left negative feedback with a comment specifying his behavior, but to my surprise that comment was deleted by eBay, despite there being others that were offensive toward this seller. Don't you think there is some kind of "protection" for certain top eBayers at the expense of buyers?

Mentore2 years agoWith all due respect, if you want to make the sales conditions suit yourself... this is the result!
Terms clearly written even before purchasing... and you didn't notice them...
No blackmail, it is standard practice to return your catalyst to be refurbished... with an upfront deposit...
If it wasn't convenient for you, why did you buy it anyway??
Maybe you should read the entire listing more carefully before buying!
Kind regards.

Mentore2 years agoI don’t know what you wrote in the feedback, but if the seller had specified in the listing that a deposit was required, they didn’t cancel your order but it was their prerogative to decide, and you didn’t get the deposit back because you decided not to send back the old part... it’s easy to understand why the feedback was removed. The others you left are still there, clearly visible.
