Buy item with in-person pickup
Good evening everyone, I would like to ask something. I’m thinking of buying an item marked as local pickup. Since we’re far apart, the seller and I agreed via message that he would send it to me. But since eBay shows that I have to pick up the item in person, I don’t feel safe buying it because I’m afraid he may not send me the item and I may not be able to get a refund because of the wording on eBay “local pickup,” which would prevent me from using the option “item not received”

Mentore3 years agoSince in a situation like that the seller is at greater risk, since they would never be able to prove delivery, I’d say it would be better if you agreed to cancel the sale. Then the seller can create a new listing, in which shipping will be предусмотрed, and you can make your purchase again.
