Delivery in Italy with Royal Mail
I purchased an item from the United Kingdom that has already been shipped to me via Royal Mail, but on the day scheduled for delivery I’m supposed to be away from the office for work reasons. Is there a way to find out which national carrier will be handling the delivery? Poste Italiane? Thanks to anyone who chooses to reply...

Mentore3 years agoAlmost certainly at Poste Italiane. But since they have to collect some money from you, they’ll definitely come back.

OP3 years agoIn that case the package will probably be left at the local Post Office because I already paid via PayPal

Mentore3 years agoUnless you have also paid the customs duties in advance through the GSP program, you still need to pay the charges to the courier for customs.
