Hello
I would like help with some virtual products I sold. In the description I also wrote that the delivery would be made via the Steam platform, but now the customer has opened a dispute saying to eBay that I did not deliver the product, yet on the same day I delivered everything by making a trade on the Steam platform. Now though I can't provide proof of delivery because it asks me the shipping code details which of course I don't have. What should I do? Help, it's 430 euros that the clever guy wants to steal from me. Thanks in advance

Mentore1 year agoOn eBay, private sellers are forbidden from selling virtual products

OP1 year agoThanks for the reply, I didn't know about this rule because I saw that there are other private sellers selling similar stuff. So now this scammer has my items and I have to give him his money back too?
I also opened a complaint on ebey and wrote to him that I have proof I passed him the items through the Steam gaming platform. We'll see what happens with these 430 €

Mentore1 year agoOn eBay you can barely do anything. You didn’t have permission to sell virtual products, so in the listing you stated that you would ship the item or hand it over in person.
Without a shipping receipt or a QR code, you can’t prove that you delivered the goods you sold, so you’ll be forced to refund.
If you are absolutely sure that you had the rights to sell those games, you can report the buyer for misappropriation.
bye
