periodic performance check

Question

On July 3 I sold a smartphone, and the payment arrived a few hours later.

Later that afternoon I shipped the item, which was delivered to the customer in less than 24 hours.

A few hours before delivery, Ebay blocked my incoming funds and sent me an email saying:

"Your incoming payments are blocked because we need to complete a periodic performance review. At the end of the review, the funds will be unlocked. During this period you can continue selling."

My current seller level is Above standard.

Today I find myself with the smartphone delivered, the shipping money gone, and incoming funds blocked.

Does anyone know how to resolve this situation?

Thanks for the prompt response.

I’ve only made about 40 sales in 9 years, and they weren’t just bottles of liquor.

The bottles are part of a private collection that I inherited.

The shipping money is lost because, since I included it in the total cost of the smartphone, I’m afraid eBay won’t refund me either one or the other.

In these 9 years as a seller and in more than 15 years as a buyer I have no negative feedback and no warnings from eBay.
