AFTER A BATTLE AGAINST A SCAMMING BUYER WHO WANTED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF A SIMPLE REPORT OF POSSIBLE DAMAGE BY THE COURIER TO DRAMATICALLY LOWER THE PRICE, (AN ITEM THAT THEN TURNED OUT TO HAVE NO DAMAGE AT ALL) THE LEGENDARY AND NOTORIOUS PLATFORM I AM WRITING FROM, AFTER ASSURING ME BY PHONE THAT THE DISPUTE HAD BEEN RESOLVED WITH THE BUYER'S RETURN AND THAT I WOULD ONLY HAVE TO WAIT... TODAY 1/1/2025, AS THE START OF THE YEAR, I FOUND THE MESSAGE, AGAIN FROM THEM, INFORMING ME THAT THE DISPUTE HAD BEEN CLOSED IN THE BUYER'S FAVOR, GIVING THEM BACK THE PROCEEDS PLUS THE ITEM THEY BOUGHT FROM ME!!!!!!!!!
ON TOP OF THAT, THE SAME ONE IS STILL ASKING ME FOR 35.25 FOR THE LISTING FEE FOR THE SAME ITEM!!!! I MEAN, ARE WE KIDDING????? TO MAKE A LITTLE EXTRA MONEY, DO YOU RISK LOSING YOUR SAVINGS TOO????

Mentore1 year agoIn a remote sale, on any platform, no one will ever be able to know for sure whether you’re lying or whether the buyer is lying, and so any third party will tend to side with the contractually weaker party, i.e. the buyer.
So, in these cases, you have to accept the return right away and provide a prepaid shipping label for the return.
If it’s a valuable item, ask for the return by message and send them a prepaid label. With the refund, you’ve become the owner of the item again, so if the buyer refuses the return, you can report them for misappropriation.

OP1 year agoEVEN THOUGH THE DEADLINES HAVE PASSED AND THE DISPUTE WAS CLOSED IN FAVOR OF THE BUYER, ALREADY REFUNDING THEIR MONEY???

Mentore1 year agoAll the more reason, with the dispute closed and the user refunded, the item has reverted to your property and you have the right to take it back.
If it’s worth it, you can send them a return label and ask for the item.
If they don’t accept, get a refund for the unused label and then report them to the police for misappropriation.
