Hello, I sold an item on February 1st and it was shipped on the 2nd with standard mail 1.On February 19th the buyer opened a dispute for item not received. On February 23rd the dispute was resolved by eBay in the buyer’s favor, refunding them in full. I appealed to eBay, and the operator told me that standard mail 1 shipping is not trackable from departure to delivery and that they had to refund the buyer. I want to point out that I had told the operator that I had contacted the post office and that this type of shipment can have longer delivery times or, if it has been delivered, I needed to wait a few more days for the system to update. Now on the post office website it shows delivered on February 19th, yes, on February 19th when the user opened the dispute.I contact eBay, and the operator tells me that if the user does not want to refund me, they can do nothing and that I can block them. What is the point of blocking them? So they won’t buy from me anymore? Yes, but they could do the same to other sellers. They can’t leave a negative feedback and eBay obviously doesn’t refund me. So now, for us sellers, they freeze our funds, negative feedback to the buyer (who is also a seller) even if it is verified that the item was delivered after the dispute was closed they don’t block the account, they don’t refund you and not even the negative feedback. Isn’t that ridiculous? Can someone give me an answer that makes a bit of sense? Thanks
