Dispute over item not received
Good morning, I recently sold and shipped an item, and yesterday the buyer opened a refund request for item not received even though there is tracking that shows the item as in transit, with the latest update on Thursday saying it was being processed in Milan and, since it has to go all the way to Africa, it’s normal that it takes a while. So, to close the dispute, I don’t know what to do except ignore it and wait or call eBay support directly. I haven’t sold much, so I’m relying on those who are more experienced than me, thanks

Mentore2 years agoGood morning,
if you're a new seller, maybe it would have been best to stick to domestic sales, gain a bit of experience, and then think about shipping abroad.
In this specific case, you have 4 days to provide or update the shipping status, then everything will be in ebay's hands... if the buyer requests their intervention, you risk losing both money and the item in the worst case, or ebay extending the request timeline.
It all depends on the agent who will handle the report.
Kind regards.
