Hello, I’m a private seller, and one of my items was bought by a buyer who doesn’t convince me. Everything would seem to be in order if you only look at eBay because he hasn’t sent me any message, he bought the item with “Buy It Now” and has already paid for it, but he has a business name and a shipping address that, when searched on Google, match those of a scammer (a company that is mentioned in various forums and that ran fraudulent online e-commerce sites), so I have no intention of shipping anything to him. The profile was created 6 months ago and has 4 feedback ratings (positive). If I cancel the order, will there be any consequences for my account? I’m not used to selling on eBay and I had never had a suspicious buyer before, so I don’t know how to handle this. Thanks

Mentore1 year agoCancel for address issues.
You will receive a warning. The first one doesn't cause problems, but be careful not to collect more.

OP1 year agoI did as you suggested. I hope the user won't leave me negative feedback. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to conclude the transaction with a clear conscience in view of the information I found. Thanks for your help.

Mentore1 year agoIf they leave you a negative, depending on what they write, you can even get eBay to remove it; in any case, you can also leave a comment on their feedback yourself (obviously calm and objective).
