what to do to give customers the opportunity to buy more items with a single shipment
Hello everyone, I’m a non-professional seller and for a long time, only for my Buy It Now listings, the customers who use the cart contact me because eBay calculates all the shipping costs for each item, and many, when I tell them to look for the request total from seller option, can’t find it, so to solve it I tell them to set local pickup for almost all the items in the cart and leave one or two listings unchanged in order to get the single shipping amount depending on what they chose.
What I’m wondering is: is this a problem I can solve myself in my selling settings, or is there another solution from eBay?? thanks in advance to anyone who can help me...

OP2 years agoThanks marioelegio, I checked the link and my settings, but those who contact me to say they have my items in their cart and that eBay adds up all the shipping, if they don't send me the total request, I don't know which items they have chosen and they, fearing they’ll have to pay all the shipping, either give up or they have to send me the photos of each listing they would like to buy so that I can tell them what they need to do. This is because the shipping cost varies depending on the weight and bulk of the items added to the cart... and very often I have to tell customers to replace the shipping cost of each item by setting local pickup to zero euros, leaving aside one, two or three shipments as appropriate based on the actual shipping cost according to the number of items in the cart. That way I solve it, but not all customers understand this move and give up, looking for the less complicated route from other sellers. With auctions I don't have problems because those who have bid on the items are sure to buy and in the end I am the one who does the single shipping calculation..... but Buy It Now with the cart, no.
