Shipping costs charged to the buyer

Good morning, I sold an item at a certain price + shipping costs paid by the buyer, when I created the label to ship his package I had to pay an extra €9.43 for shipping with BRT through Packlink (why did he have to pay them????), I paid them and once I received my net money (after deducting eBay’s percentage and the listing) they did not give me back the €9.43 that I had advanced. I also called support and they made things up just so they wouldn’t give them to me. Can you help me?

Mentore1 year agoOn 159 euros, eBay keeps 5% plus 0.43% plus €0.35.
So in total it keeps exactly 9 euros. It’s just a case where this amount happens to match the shipping cost.
Then if they only paid you 126 euros because you had 23 and change euros of previous debts with eBay, that’s an issue between you and eBay.

OP1 year agoHi, I'm not complaining about either the 5% or the 23€, but maybe there’s been a misunderstanding

Mentore1 year agoIf you're not complaining about the 23 euros and change, then you received from eBay not 126 but 150 euros (159 - 9 that eBay kept for its fees) and the 150 euros are divided up like this:

have you read how ebay works before you started selling??
The buyer pays shipping to you... which you will then have to purchase yourself...
So if you sold an item + shipping for 159€, the 9€ you list as shipping will have to be paid by you!
So e bay doesn't need to refund you anything.

OP1 year agoHi, yes I had read it, but the thing is that those €9 that the buyer was supposed to pay me never arrived... because the net total of what I received doesn't add up with the calculations made after subtracting eBay's 5% and the listings..

OP1 year ago€126 net so already without its 5% and €23 in ads. The item was on sale for 150+9 shipping paid by the buyer, I received 126 and so far everything is right, but I paid another €9.43 to ship it, which from what support had told me they would give back to me at the end

Mentore1 year agoI don't understand what the 23€ in ads are, but if that's the case, the math checks out... between commissions, VAT on commissions, and the fixed fee, it's correct to have received 126€ and change.
The 9 € shipping were therefore included.
