DAC7 canceled and refunded sales
Summary: The discussion concerns the topic of canceled and refunded sales in relation to DAC7. However, the content of the messages does not provide specific details about the points addressed by the participants masterluca01 and marioelegio, making it difficult to grasp a clear thread of the dialogue.
Hi everyone, I received the email from eBay about preparing the tax transparency report, not because of earnings, which are around 950 euros, but probably because the sales section counts 32 transactions, though this includes 2 sales canceled right away and 1 refunded shortly after purchase (so the total actually completed is 29).
I was very careful not to go over 29, even stopping sales in the last weeks of the year, not thinking that the system would include those 3 in the count as well.
Now I ask you:
Is there a chance the final report won’t count them and that no report will be sent to the German authorities and then to AdE?
If someone was in my situation last year, did they later receive communications from AdE or elsewhere?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day.

Mentore8 months ago... Your data will be disclosed if:
.........If you complete 30 or more transactions, meaning sales on eBay (canceled transactions are not included in the calculation)
..... If we have to disclose your data under the DAC7/PStTG directive, we will provide you with a copy of the data disclosed to the tax authorities in a PDF file. A CSV file containing the transactions used to calculate the total figures in the PDF will also be available. The data contained in the CSV file is shared only with you and is not disclosed to the tax authorities. As soon as the PDF and CSV files are available, you will receive an email and a notification on your eBay account. Both reports can be downloaded in Seller Hub or in My eBay.
Here’s how to do it:
(from: https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/selling/direttiva-dac7-legge-sulla-trasparenza-fiscale-delle-piattaforme-obblighi-di-comunicazione-materia-di-vendite?id=5394&st=3&pos=2&query=Direttiva%20DAC7%20e%20legge%20sulla%20trasparenza%20fiscale%20delle%20piattaforme%20-%20Obblighi%20di%20comunicazione%20in%20materia%20di%20vendite&intent=dac7&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1733)
If you have any doubts, on the same page you’ll find, at the bottom, the link to have eBay customer support call you.

OP8 months agoAs far as I understand, refunded sales are included in the calculations, so my data will be sent because a user had fun buying an item from me and asking for a refund 5 minutes later. Of course, those are the rules, but it really seems like a stretch to me since the sale was not completed, as the item was not delivered and I didn’t make anything from it.
Sorry to bother you with another question, but in your opinion will I have to pay anything, assuming that all the items I sold (70% collectible cards I had duplicates of and 30% old toys, video games and books) were all mine and I didn’t buy anything to resell later?

Mentore8 months agoActually, from what is written, it seems to me the opposite....
.... canceled transactions are not included in the calculation ....
Anyway, you can download the reports and see whether they were included or not and, if necessary, ask ebay for an explanation.
bye

OP8 months agoIt says cancelled and not refunded, I think they’re considered separately, that’s why I had the doubt. Anyway, the report isn’t ready yet; I’ll wait until the end of January to check at this point and maybe I’ll wait for the response from someone with a similar situation. Thanks a lot for the quick reply.
