Hi, Am I required to give my tax code to the seller? No one has ever asked me for it

Probably the seller issues an invoice or notes the tax code in the register of receipts. The handling is correct but not mandatory. In any case, there is nothing sensitive in your tax code, just: first name, last name, date and place of birth.
