Good evening, I bought 2 used items (a camera and a lens) paying 155 and 183 euros respectively. In the listing the prices were expressed in dollars (but I found out they came from Japan) shipping was included. To my surprise, I received messages from the carrier (DHL) asking me for money for customs clearance/duties, specifically 54 euros and 75 euros, greatly increasing the final purchase price. I would like not to pay this money because honestly I had absolutely not budgeted for it and anyway I did not expect it to be so high (35% and 40% of the money already spent)
can I give up or withdraw ? without shelling out the 130 euros in duties and getting back the money already paid ?
thanks the community in advance

Mentore10 months agoNo, if you refuse delivery you will also lose the right to receive a refund for the items paid for.
We need to be very careful when buying and be aware that customs has to be paid on goods from non-EU countries!
Kind regards.
