customs duties and VAT from Australia
Good evening,
I made a purchase from a private seller in Australia for around €480.0. Usually, in orders where VAT has to be added, the VAT addition appears during payment itself; in this case it was not предусмотрено.
How can I find out whether I will have to pay any customs duties or add VAT, and if so, what the amount would be?

Mentore1 year agoWhen you go over 150 euros, VAT must be added after customs duties. That’s why it isn’t collected by ebay, but by the courier.
If the courier doesn’t calculate it in advance (GSP from the UK or international shipping from the USA), you will be asked to pay customs duties, VAT and customs clearance fees upon delivery of the package.
Calculate about 30% of the total (140-150 euros).
