Mentore3 years agoI think you were not able to use eBay's procedures correctly; if you had opened the return request properly and the seller did nothing, it would have been enough to ask eBay to step in.
Moreover, the feedback you left did not solve the problem, if anything it made it worse... so it seems to me that the one who needs to wake up is the one who doesn't read the procedures and doesn't use them properly!
Best regards.

OP3 years agothe seller immediately wrote that he did not recognize the return costs even though the return had been accepted.
the feetback only talks about this, but it was TOTALLY CORRECT to send it, also because it's easy to say that everything is fine and everything is splendid. In doing so, everyone else falls into the trap.
The decoder doesn't work and they are the ones who have to take action for the return and not blackmail me by saying they'll do it on condition that I remove the Fetbeck

Mentore3 years agoThe facts are already known, it's you who don't know how ebay works!
What the seller wrote to you has no value... what matters is ebay's procedure if it's followed... but since you didn't follow it, there's no point complaining afterwards!
Have a nice Sunday.

OP3 years agoThey wrote to me from the very beginning of the dispute that they would step in and take care of everything, that's why I didn't reply to the seller.
If I had withdrawn the negative feedback from the very beginning, he wrote to me that everything would have gone differently.
But I won't accept certain blackmails, not now and not ever, especially with eBay's own approval.
They sent me a decoder that DOESN'T work; I'm not the one at fault, I don't know if I'm making myself clear

Mentore3 years agoIf you had followed the procedure to the letter (open a return request + eBay intervention), everything would have gone differently.
Sometimes what other people say, you have to give it the meaning it deserves... even eBay support isn't always on the ball... but what you find written was written specifically to help you, so forgive me if I insist, but you did NOT follow the procedures to the letter at all.
But by now there's no point arguing... the damage is done!
Have a nice Sunday.

OP3 years agoof the situation, further insinuating that I had broken it myself because of voltage surges

Mentore3 years agoAnyway, the fact remains that if the buyer follows eBay’s procedures correctly, it is impossible for the seller to evade their responsibilities.
This is what Sika stated.
Once the dispute is opened (for item not as described) and the time available to the seller has passed, if the seller does not arrange the return at their own expense, eBay is asked to intervene.

Mentore3 years agoForgive me, but if you followed eBay's procedure, there can't be any misunderstandings...
Question: did you open the procedure on eBay or on the payment method?
Because maybe we're talking about two different things...
Have a good evening.
