Price difference
Good morning everyone, I’m asking for some information since the seller still hasn’t replied to me. I’m buying an item for $177, I made an offer and the seller accepted an amount of $115 including shipping. When it comes time to pay with "pay now," the total to pay becomes $140.30, why? I can’t understand it, can anyone give me an explanation? I’d like to understand
Thanks to anyone who wants to reply..

Mentore2 years agoIt seems strange to me that an experienced user like you doesn’t know that, if you buy from a non-EU country, you then have to pay VAT. In fact, it seems strange to me in general for a European citizen.
115 + 22% = 115 + 25.3 = 140.3
Ebay will collect 140.3 dollars from you and will immediately pay 25.3 to the Italian state, then from the remaining 115 it will deduct its commissions and pay the seller what is left.
Remember that when the goods arrive you will have to pay customs fees to the courier for assistance with customs clearance (from 5 to 25 euros, it depends a lot on the courier), but you should avoid duties since the amount does not exceed 150 euros.
