Price difference from listing to cart
I don't know if this is normal because I never buy from outside the EU
when I see an item from the United States it has a price, for example 500 + 30 shipping + 80 duties, as soon as I buy it
I add it to the cart and the price goes to 680+30+80
This doesn't happen to me if I add to the cart an item from England, the price between item, shipping and import fees converted to euros is the same in both steps

Mentore3 years agoIn the UK and USA, it depends on whether the seller uses the GSP program or not. If they use the program, VAT, duties and charges are calculated in advance. Otherwise, they have to be added later. After all, it's obvious that 80 euros on 500 aren't enough even to pay the VAT, which by itself is already 110 euros.

OP3 years agoThe strange thing is that it increases the item's price and then you still have to pay import duties and customs fees separately, calculated separately
something different with a UK listing, the Buy It Now price stays the same from item to cart
I don't think that's normal, I’m aware of customs charges but not of having to pay them twice, or am I missing something
