Show that I paid for the shipping
I bought some massage ointments in Egypt; the shipping costs were specified in the price. Now they’re asking me to prove that I paid for shipping. How can I do that?

OP1 year agothey say Italian but they don’t speak a word and the address is in Cairo and
they ask if I paid for the goods, they want a document and a statement that
I’ll use it for personal purposes and won’t resell it to third parties....

Mentore1 year agoContact the seller, they’re the one who should have attached the commercial invoice to the package.
Otherwise you can try sending them the ebay transaction summary and the proof of VAT payment (if it’s already been paid).
If the total was less than 150 euros, you’ve already paid the VAT to ebay and you can find the document here: You’ll see the VAT included in the order total at checkout. In addition, the tax invoice will be available and downloadable from the Order Details page of the Purchase History.
If the total was higher, you’ll still have to pay on delivery: customs duties, VAT and courier fees.
