Right of withdrawal, does it start when the package arrives at the pickup point or when I pick it up?
Summary: The discussion concerns the right of withdrawal and when the period to exercise it begins, that is, whether from the moment the package arrives at the pickup point or from when it is actually collected by the buyer. troigiu_57 and sika700 discuss this to clarify the issue, but no definitive answer is provided in the conversation presented.
Hi, as we all know, when you buy from a professional seller, you have 15 days of return rights in case you change your mind and 30 in case of defects in the item. I haven't understood whether the return rights days start from when the package arrives at the pickup point or from when I pick it up. I'm asking because I'll be forced to pick up the package 13 days after it arrived at the pickup point... just in time, because on the 15th day they send it back. I couldn't find anything in eBay's rules.

Mentore1 year agoCheck with the Fermo Point... I don't think it can stay in storage that long... and if it gets returned to the sender, you're not entitled to any refund.
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoWe didn't understand each other. I would like to know whether the right of return starts when the parcel arrives at the pickup point or when I go to pick it up. It is established that if you leave it uncollected for 15 days, the parcel is returned to the seller and I GET the refund. But my question was something else.

Mentore1 year agoNo, no, I get it, don’t worry... what I don’t understand is why think about withdrawal when you still have to receive the item.
It’s obvious that the timing starts from when you pick up the item... but if it goes back to the sender, under eBay customer guarantee you are NOT entitled to any refund, it’s up to the seller to do it net of the shipping costs incurred.
Have a nice day.

OP1 year agoSo two eBay links that contradict each other... but on the phone the people at eBay told me they refunded me.

Mentore1 year agoThere is a big difference between saying and doing.
If that's the case, you should receive emails from eBay confirming that the refund has been issued.
Have a good day.
