Disable automatic relisting of Buy It Now items
Hello. I found old messages on the topic, but it seems to me that the answers given are no longer up to date. While for auctions the checkbox to tick or not is very clear to choose whether or not to automatically relist unsold items, as far as "Buy It Now" listings are concerned I really can't find anything like that. It seems to me that today, unlike (judging from the messages in this forum) what happened in the past, automatic relisting is inevitable, unless you manually end the listing before it expires. Am I wrong?

Mentore2 years agoThe Buy It Now format has no expiration date, so every month the listing renews automatically until the item is sold or the listing is ended.

OP2 years agoExactly. The only problem is that every automatic renewal is paid or in any case reduces the number of free listings available, so personally I’d like to have greater control over what and when to (re)list for sale. Oh well.

OP2 years agoActually, it seems that automatic relisting is not paid for. That’s stated on this help page: https://www.ebay.it/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/tariffe-per-venditori-privati?id=4822, according to which "Listings in the Online Auction format automatically relisted using the automatic relisting feature and listings without expiration that renew every month are not subject to additional insertion fees and are not counted toward your monthly quota of free listings". On the other hand, this help page: https://www.ebay.it/help/default/default/rimettere-vendita-gli-oggetti?id=4147 says what seems to me the opposite, namely "We charge an insertion fee (or deduct a free listing) for both the original listing and the automatic relisting". Probably I’m the one interpreting it wrong, but these seem like two contradictory pieces of information.
