Hello everyone, quick and maybe pointless question, don’t insult me LOL!

Given the current situation, do you know whether customs costs have been lowered when buying a used item (optical surplus) from a private individual living in Ukraine worth $68 + $37 shipping? Thanks.

For VAT and courier charges, there are no distinctions based on origin (outside the EU). There can only be agreements on customs duties, but in your case they are excluded anyway.

So you will pay 22% VAT and between 2 and 20 euros to the courier (it mostly depends on the courier and the value of the goods).
