Customs paid twice

I bought a record in the UK and paid the customs clearance fees in advance, as eBay requires. At the time of delivery, the postman asked me for another 6 euros (3 for customs charges; 3 for shipping). I had already paid over 22 pounds for shipping (13.93) and import fees (8.19)..
It’s not about the customs and shipping costs, which exceed the value of the record, but about the principle!, eBay support has become nonexistent, just automated bots that don’t know how to handle the issue.

Anyway, you paid 3 euros in VAT (and 3 euros in fees to the post office for advancing the 3 euros of VAT to customs), you didn’t pay any shipping.
If you paid with a traceable method and have a receipt, you can ask eBay for a refund of the VAT paid in excess.
