Question about a "scam" product

Hello everyone,

I bought a water softener for the dishwasher, it arrives, everything seems ok, I leave feedback. A few days pass to have a plumber come and install it, and then after some time I see that the dishwasher keeps having limescale problems. I contact a technician who, after testing the water, sees that the softener does nothing; the limescale comes in and goes out of the softener unchanged, so the product is completely useless and the purchase is a bit of a scam. Too late to return it and the company in question does not reply to emails. Can I do anything?
