Question about Customs Duties

Good evening

When buying an item with a total value of 70 euros (item + shipping) in the USA, and ALREADY PAYING VAT automatically on eBay at the time of purchase, are there any other charges to pay upon delivery? Like customs clearance fees, postal charges, or other various rip-offs?

Yes, they are by no means rip-offs, but the normal charges for anyone importing from a non-EU country... good to know, of course!

Quantifying them in advance is impossible; it depends on who will take charge of the delivery within Italy.
