Questions about shipping using pickup point

Good evening! Recently I live alone and I need to send a package, but since I can’t stay at home because I’m working, I wanted to ask how shipping works using a pickup point. Through eBay directly I’ve always created and paid for shipping labels, using my home address as the shipping address, but today, trying to create a shipment via a pickup point, it shows me a map of the ones that can be used, but it doesn’t actually let me select them, only view them. I already tried in the past, they had me pay, but they didn’t give me any indication of where to drop off the package. Can someone help me? Or recommend a service in case that would work for me? Thanks
