double payment foreign shipping !!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: The discussion concerns a double payment issue for an overseas shipment, highlighted by adpall-68. sika700 and marioelegio participated, but did not add any further details or solutions to the problem.
I bought a fish today, namely a beta spledetis in Thailand .....the seller, in addition to the price of the fish, charges me extra for the Thailand to Italy leg, apart from ........I should have negotiated with the contact person for Italy for the trip from Italy to my address .
found the contact person for Italy ....... the person tells me that only they would have handled the journey from Thailand to Italy to my address ......charging me again for the foreign leg + then the Italian one and that the Thai seller should not have charged ..... the fact is that now some offers are written with free shipping in the price of the item .... .....when then the Italian contact person for the trip will instead tell you that the 2 legs are chargeable

Mentore1 year ago........ I was hoping you were talking about a fake fish.
On eBay, sales of aquarium fish are allowed, but with the following limitations:
I’d say the Betta splendens is over 5 cm and therefore can’t be shipped; almost all those listed on eBay correctly allow only local pickup
So I think someone is using the double-shipping trick to get around eBay’s restrictions:
There will be 2 shipping costs:
1) First, from EBAY (indicated automatically when paying for orders on eBay)
2) Second, from Transshipper to your home (if your location is near Transshipper, please pick it up directly at their office)
I don’t think it’s entirely legal (especially because it then wouldn’t be reshippable from the Italian transhipper to your address). They talk about it here:... https://www.acquariofiliafacile.it/anabantidi-f26/importare-betta-t28446.html

Mentore1 year agoWho would be the Italian contact person?
But did you buy it regularly on eBay or through unofficial channels?
Have a good day.
