Is it possible that to get the refund, I have to return the mignon I bought?
I bought a mini item that wasn’t described well in the listing ..I asked the seller for a refund ..but he says that to get the refund I have to return the item ....is that possible ? ....in my opinion he doesn’t want to ..if you let me know I would be grateful ....thank you

Mentore2 years agoIt’s obvious that to get a refund you have to return the item you purchased.
Now it’s up to you to figure out who has to pay for shipping... you, if you requested a refund because you changed your mind... the seller, if you reported the item as not as described.

OP2 years agoseller..they had me keep the sample and I was refunded ...so .
The sellers make the rules their own way ..that’s how I seem to have understood

Mentore2 years agoYou should be surprised by the other seller... the one who refunded you without requiring a return... he was the exception... the rule is the one I described to you.

Mentore2 years agoThe rules are the same for everyone.
But if it always worked the way you wanted, buying online would be too easy. You’d end up with both the goods and the refund.
In the event of a seller error, sometimes the value of the return shipping costs is greater than the value of the item, and it is only for this reason that the seller prefers not to have the item sent back, but consider it just an anomaly and not the rule.

OP2 years agoAh, of course sellers don't want to do returns..because otherwise they
have to pay the buyer. .sellers to make us pay more no
..but instead if we like an item we have to pay more for postage
which is usually expensive and the small item costs next to nothing. That's not fair
though ...sorry for my thoughts .....kind regards..

I don’t know where you live, but if you buy an item online, you pay for shipping... if it’s too expensive for you, then it’s better to buy the sample size directly in a perfumery.
And if the buyer isn’t honest and opens a return for a non-compliant item because they don’t like it, I’d be annoyed too about paying for a return because of their mistake...

Anyway, you're right about one thing it's better to buy them at the perfumery...
