Is eBay still a viable platform?
Good evening. Is it just my impression, or has the potential audience on Ebay dropped drastically? I’ve repeatedly put items up for sale, but ZERO views in 10 days. Mind you, I’m not selling grandma’s pincushions, but desirable items, for example 4 tires with NEW alloy rims for 500 euros and ZERO views... ZERO! Listed for sale with 5 renewals, ZERO views.
Could it be that Ebay filters items, giving more visibility to those who pay to feature their listings and leaving private sellers in the dust?

Mentore4 years agoSponsored listings are definitely highlighted, otherwise what would be the point of paying for the sponsorship.

OP1 year agoOne thing is to make certain items appear first. Another is to make sure others don’t appear at all. I logged in with another account. I searched for items with characteristics similar to mine and guess what? Nothing! It’s like the listing doesn’t exist. What a load of crap.
