ebay interntional shipping programme
I bought a photography book from the United States.
The shipment was sent via the ebay international shipping programme.
The book was simply placed in a plastic bag and arrived damaged.
A valuable first edition of a book ruined.
The seller says they used the ebay shipping service and directs me to ebay to file a claim, but I believe it was the seller who handed it over to the shipping service without making a secure package with cardboard and bubble wrap.
I would like to know how to handle this and whose responsibility it is.
unfortunately it only lets me send one attachment.
Thanks

Mentore2 years agoThe shipper and the seller will have to figure out who is responsible for the damage.
For you, the same rules as domestic shipping apply, ask for the return through eBay.
