eBay isn't paying me. I've been on eBay since it first appeared in Italy.
Unfortunately, despite having communicated my IBAN several times, Ebay does not want to pay me what it has collected from one of my sales. To pay me, they demand that I give them free access to withdraw from my bank account. They will never get that! But they keep insisting and won’t credit me what is due to me unless I authorize them to withdraw it. Every attempt at dialogue has come to nothing. For months now, we’ve been talking at cross purposes. Or at least the deaf one is Ebay. The amount they owe me is small and not worth more forceful action. For now, I’m simply limiting myself to reporting the problem to other users. Be extremely careful!

By now it’s been two years that ebay has been using this method to pay sellers, I gave “free” (which really isn’t free at all!) access to my account and I have NEVER had any problem.
But the point is another: if you don’t want to give your consent to ebay, why do you keep using it or why did you use it anyway?
Unfortunately, on ebay there are clear rules and it’s not ebay that is deaf, but those who don’t want to accept them and demand ad personam rules... then maybe they give free access to their account to the electricity provider, the gas company or some other direct debit.
But... honestly... if you behave calmly, what is there to be afraid of when using ebay?
Thinking that there’s some ebay “guy” draining your account is a paleolithic thought!
