eBay doesn't publish negative feedback
Negative feedback is not published, so be careful because you might buy thinking you’re dealing with an honest seller when that’s not the case. There are no contact email addresses for customer service; this platform is becoming a breeding ground for problems. Since they didn’t publish my negative feedback, I’m now filing a formal complaint with trade associations to ask that consumers’ interests be protected. First I was asked to remove it, and when I refused they made sure it wasn’t published. In December I fought for a month to get a refund from another seller; that negative feedback was published, but the seller (a repeat offender) even had the nerve to comment that eBay had sided with him, after I got the refund and he also paid my return shipping! No protection for buyers; if you have a problem you have to suffer through it, and they silence you too. Terrible, and I really don’t think any of this is legal. Unfortunately, honest sellers are lumped together with all the others

Mentore3 years agoNegative feedback is not published... They published a full 22 for you, if that seems like few to you.... You should also explain to the trade associations that you were not interested in how to solve the problems but preferred to leave negative feedback...
In December you fought for a month because you did not want to ask eBay to step in...

Mentore3 years agoLet’s start with your latest negative that is still published. If the seller had known eBay's rules better, they could have asked for its removal.
Very dishonest seller....Highly not recommended.... are just your subjective opinions that harm the seller’s honor and could be considered a crime (art. 595 c2 c.p. aggravated defamation). You can objectively describe the facts, but you must stick to those without then making general assessments that are only your own subjective ones. The fact that you believe they were unfair with you does not mean they will always be unfair with everyone....
The reasons that lead to the removal of your negatives are solely your responsibility.

Mentore3 years agoAll reviews are published (you yourself say so by writing "I was first asked to remove it; when I refused, they got it so it wasn’t published.") but they are removed if they violate the site rules or are defamatory...
But in principle, people should be taught about the usefulness of feedback: it is not meant to solve problems!
22 negative feedbacks for issues that are easily resolved if you followed the procedures that ebay provides to protect "consumer interests"... items not received and items not as described... but as always, the feedback route is chosen and then people complain... half of them, if not all, are defamatory!
The world is upside down... unfortunately even serious buyers are "lumped in with everyone else"... anyway, another user on the black list!
Kind regards.
