EBAY CAN'T REFUND THE BUYER WITHOUT PROTECTING YOU ON THE REFUND

Ebay, even if it's UK, can't close a dispute, charge you 1400.00 Euros and not give a damn that this buyer doesn't return your money to you. If I put something up for sale on Ebay .it, I don't see why the buyer's site, with a surname that's apparently Ukrainian-Moldovan, should have jurisdiction, and not the sales site. If Ebay, in its own words, protects a buyer because, in its own words, an item would not be compliant, then with the same common sense it should freeze the buyer's funds until they return the item. True, I received an Ebay email in ENGLISH, which I speak very little of, telling me I had 4 days to provide a return label. But in the meantime, on Ebay Italy there was a decision they were making. Who should I listen to? Then, if the listing is in Italian, they should respond in Italian, or at least I should be able to deal with Ebay Italy. I've given everything to my lawyer, I'm waiting for them to let me know. This is misappropriation with the complicity of Ebay Italy, the listing was on their site. After 23 years of HONEST sales as a PRIVATE seller, am I treated like a criminal? What seller protection? If this is it, better not to be "protected"....

Unfortunately, it was you who made a serious procedural mistake by letting the three working days you had to arrange the return by sending the buyer a prepaid label slip by. You shouldn’t have let that time pass. This is not about understanding English, since the rule is the same on eBay Italy too.
Once this time has expired, eBay steps in and issues the refund without worrying about your return anymore.
This doesn’t mean that you’re not entitled to the return, only that eBay no longer helps you obtain it (by withholding the refund until the return is delivered). You can still continue on your own through legal channels by reporting the buyer for misappropriation.
