eBay does not refund the seller
Hello. A little while ago I bought an item from the USA that initially had some issues with shipping (package intercepted) and then was resent. Fearing it was a scam and acting on impulse (my fault), even though there are plenty of scammers, I opened a dispute with PayPal, which once I received the goods, I closed!! What I don't understand is that now the seller complains about not receiving the money from eBay because it appears to be blocked!! In other words, my PayPal bank didn't send the communication, according to him!! That seems strange to me, because I was convinced that once the case was closed on PayPal, everything would automatically be closed on eBay too, since the package shows as delivered there as well!! How can this be?

Mentore2 years agoBecause you made the mistake of opening the dispute on PayPal instead of on eBay.
eBay has fairly quick turnaround times, while PayPal is not that fast.
Now the times add up too (closing on PayPal, communication to eBay, investigation on eBay, and closing on eBay), and it will take at least about twenty days before it is closed on eBay too.

Mentore2 years agoThe communication between Paypal and ebay takes more than 20 days... so, apart from the fact that it would have been better to open a request on ebay first, you only need to tell him that because of your impulse, he’ll have to wait more than 20 days!!!
Best regards.
