EBAY SHIPPING PROGRAM UK LET'S FIGHT IT TOGETHER
It is REALLY EMBARRASSING... I'm talking about the shipping service they use in the United Kingdom
AFTER THE umpteenth supercazzole from Customer Service about the absurdity of this shipping system, I’m reaching out to you.
I AM SPECIFICALLY TALKING ABOUT BUYING VINTAGE PRODUCTS..SO NOT SUBJECT TO DUTIES AS THEY ARE USED !
Now...it’s already not clear why they apply duties to some items
They make us pay import taxes even on shipping and services, and it’s impossible to make them understand that if I buy a product for 2 euros..one for 2 euros..one for 2 euros total 6 euros...
I can’t pay 15 euros or 20 each !!! for shipping..
Every item every sale has a different shipping cost despite the same weight 🙂
The call center explanations are always the same
1-- but it says you may not buy it
2--well you can cancel, you’re right
3--uh..sorry but we can’t file a complaint because they tell us that the customer has a contract with shipping program which is not ebay and so it does what it wants
Now I ask everyone
A--LET’S STOP BUYING ANYTHING IN SHIPPING PROGRAM
B-LET’S BUY AND NOT PAY
THEN THEY’LL STOP THIS AND, like other UK users, they’ll use Royal Mail post as normal

Mentore2 years ago..... this too is nonsense, since by law it is correct to charge import taxes even on shipping and services since, according to the customs VAT code.... the charging of transport costs to the EU customer, if done directly on the invoice, even separately from the agreed price for the sale of the goods, contributes to determining the taxable amount of the transaction

THE PROBLEM IS THE SHIPPING COSTS.... NOT THE DUTIES
THEY WON'T ACCEPT COMBINED SHIPPING FOR ITEMS WORTH ONLY A FEW EUROS

first of all, the information you have about duties on used items is completely wrong... you pay import fees for any type of product, new or used... and duties are paid on amounts over €150.
If you maintain the opposite, it would be useful to attach some legal regulation that shows this.
To solve the problem, it is enough NOT to buy... seems simple to me... if you don't pay, it's obvious that nothing will be shipped and if you refuse to pay any duties and charges to the courier, you are also in the wrong because you can't claim any refund.
Then it's up to you...

YOU PAY 22% TAXES EVEN ON 5 GPB AND WITH EBAY SHIPPING PROGRAM YOU PAY IT ON SHIPPING TOO... THIS IS THE INFORMATION I AM GIVING AE TO WHICH YOU (SNEAKILY) ARE NOT RESPONDING....
I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHO YOU ARE OR ON WHAT AUTHORITY YOU ARE MAKING JUDGMENTS maybe you work for them...
