Refund request for non-conforming item agreed to by the seller, too bad that when it was time to hand over the money eBay closed the dispute, leaving the money with the thief seller and leaving the item clearly different from the one in the listing great eBay

These things only happen when a serious procedural error is made.

Ebay does not close cases; these can only be closed:

by the seller's refund;
by the buyer's decision to withdraw the dispute;
for inactivity (if 21 days pass from the opening without asking for eBay's intervention).

So if you explain what happened, maybe there's still one more possibility.
