Return completed with a new label generated by the returns center, but eBay isn't updating the tracking number!
Summary: seriodan reports a problem with returning an item on eBay: even though the return label was generated and used, eBay does not update the return code. marioelegio replied, but the content of the reply is unclear.
Good morning,
I’m writing because unfortunately neither returns support nor eBay support has actually resolved the situation. Now I’m left with a return that was completed and no refund.
The seller sent me the first label, but then noticed that the address was wrong, so they requested a new label through the returns chat, but the new code was not replaced. eBay support told me to proceed with the new code. The parcel has been delivered, but in "View return details" it still shows as not shipped!
I suspect I may have fallen victim to a scam! I do find it absurd, though, that eBay can’t sort it out!
What do you recommend I do? A PayPal dispute?
