Issue a partial refund after a closed dispute
Summary: The discussion concerns the possibility of issuing a partial refund after a dispute has been closed.
I sold an item, the buyer had entered the wrong zip code in their account. They asked for a refund for item not received, and I asked Ebay to step in. eBay closed the dispute in my favor. Now the item has been returned to me, with payment for a new shipment. I would still like to issue a partial refund (deducting the shipping costs that I still had to cover) to the buyer. This is what appears if I try to issue a refund. I don't understand what shipping 2.92 means... I won't be sending the item again... I refund 15 euro and the buyer receives 14.18? Can someone help me understand? Thanks

If your buyer has to receive €15, eBay credits you back the fees paid of 82 cents, so you only have to pay out €14.18.
Best regards.
