Invoice issuance
Am I entitled to the invoice in addition to the fiscal receipt?
The seller, in response to my request, says there is no obligation to issue an invoice, but that the transaction counts as proof of purchase. If I need to claim the purchase amount as a tax deduction, how should I do it??
thanks

Mentore3 years agoIf it is a professional seller based in an EU country, there is an obligation to issue an invoice only upon the buyer’s request.
Of course, the buyer must request it before or at the time of purchase, providing all the necessary details. In online sales, there is no obligation to issue a fiscal receipt.

Mentore3 years agoThat's correct, every professional seller who sells online has no obligation to issue an invoice or any other tax document, because the accounting is handled differently.
If you want the document, you have to ask for it explicitly at the time of purchase... to be fair, even before... or immediately after the purchase, but no later than 24 hours later, sending your details to the seller.
Best regards.
