Tracking code error
Good morning everyone, I have a question for you.
A few weeks ago I shipped an item, and unfortunately for me I made a mistake.
After shipping, I clicked mark as shipped before entering the tracking code.
Once I marked it as shipped, it wouldn’t let me add the code anymore, so I sent the tracking code to the buyer in chat.
After two weeks, I noticed that I haven’t had any response from the buyer and that my parcel on the postal website is shown as delivered. Obviously it doesn’t show up on eBay, since I hadn’t entered the code.
Clearly I was naive to trust the buyer’s good faith, but has this ever happened to anyone? Is there a way to prove that you have the code, or once you’ve clicked mark as shipped, if the code wasn’t entered, is it too late?

you can still enter the shipping code... even if you’ve already marked it as shipped...
Go here:
Orders - Seller Console (ebay.it)
find your order and under the title, to the right of the small image, you’ll find the link: "+ Add shipping code", click on it and enter the code with the carrier name.
