ERROR Installment payment REPEATED?

Hello everyone, today I tried to make a purchase from my smartphone by selecting installment payments through paypall, but it kept asking me to enter the details every time I confirmed, so I exited the process hoping it would cancel. Now my card shows the payment as processing and on paypall it says "temporary authorization", but in my ebay account there is no order confirmation nor have I received a confirmation email about it, and the seller has confirmed to me that they have not received any order.
My question is: do I need to make some refund request on ebay or will paypall cancel everything automatically?

Mentore1 year agoIf it doesn’t show the payment on eBay…. No point asking them for a refund.
It’s almost certainly just a PayPal pre-authorization that should be reversed within a few days.

OP1 year agoI confirm. Paypal canceled the authorization after a few days, which had in fact not been processed by ebay.
