Is there a return for an item already reported as not working?

Hi everyone, I have a question because a doubt came up for me.

Background: I have an item that is already listed for sale as being sold "for parts or not working".

However, it happened that after a format (to prepare the computer for sale), it turned out that the battery is not detected or an X appears on the Windows icon.

Since there are already some bids, it won’t let me modify, or rather add, any more details to the description.

Doubt: since it is sold as "for parts or not working," could the buyer still waste my time by asking for a return?

Yes, in theory it could. For example, someone might buy it just to salvage the battery.

To be fair, send a message to the auction winner, pointing out this issue as well and saying that, if there are any problems, you're willing to cancel the sale.
