Experiences with online purchases and managing expectations
Summary: m92g8z shared a frustrating experience with an online purchase, where an expensive product was marked as unavailable after the purchase was accepted, but then later reappeared for sale. They asked other participants whether they have had similar experiences and how these situations affect their trust in online shopping, inviting them to share strategies for dealing with them.
Recently, I had an unexpected experience during an online purchase. After receiving acceptance for the purchase of a rather expensive product, when it came time to finalize the purchase, the system told me that the item was no longer available. However, shortly after, I found the same item on the site again, back on sale at the original price. This led me to reflect on expectations and online shopping experiences.
Have you ever experienced something similar? What do you think about these situations? How do they affect your trust in online purchases? It would be interesting to hear your experiences and whether you have found ways to handle such situations effectively.

The only thing it can do is apply defects, warnings, or reports. The first infraction has no effect, but starting from the second one (for the same reason) ebay begins to apply increasing restrictions to the offending user, up to excluding them from the platform.
