Returned the item as it was not as described

I ordered the fuel injectors for my car, providing the license plate and model to the seller before making the purchase, and with his confirmation that they were compatible with my car I placed the order. They arrived and they weren’t compatible, so I returned them… I printed the label and went to the post office to ship everything…the package was sent on December 23, 2024, and the post office website says it will arrive by December 31, 2025… in cases like this, how does it work? The item cost 100 euros. How can I protect myself and what can I do?

Did you open the proper procedure on eBay and follow it carefully?
Did you enter the parcel tracking correctly?
If so, you just need to wait for it to be delivered; the seller will have 4 days to refund you, if they don't, on the fifth day you can ask eBay for help:
