Billing of Purchase Protection component for business purchase from non-professional seller after 9/1/26
Has anyone found a way to receive the invoice from eBay for the Purchase Protection fee?
If, as a company, I buy an item from a non-professional seller for 100 euros after 01/09/2026, 4.70 euros are added by eBay, which already include 22% VAT.
I record the 100 euros as an expense without VAT, but the 4.70 euros for Purchase Protection have to be recorded separately since they are intended for eBay.
How do I get an invoice for those 3.85 euros + VAT? Thanks
