Electronic invoicing from January 2024
Good morning everyone,
according to decree-law no. 36/2022, from January 1, 2024 even flat-rate taxpayers are required to issue electronic invoices. The accountant said that therefore we also need to organize ourselves for issuing invoices for eBay sales.
Now I’m asking, since it’s already difficult because for issuing it, the required detail is the TAX CODE, which the buyer does not always provide and in the future should become standard to release it together with the default data of the person buying (address, phone number, etc.).
Now I’m asking, since eBay is an INDIRECT sale, are we sure there is an obligation to invoice? Or in reality are we exempt from it as up to now and therefore only issue it upon explicit request?
Because unfortunately at the moment there isn’t any precise news, so I’m asking here hoping someone has managed to find out more

Mentore2 years agoAnyway, even reading the decree cited by your accountant, there's something that
doesn't add up (it's the penultimate amendment to Legislative Decree of 05/08/2015 no. 127 art 1 paragraph 3
.......... Electronic invoices issued to end consumers are made available to them by the Revenue Agency's online services; a copy of the electronic invoice or in analog format will be made available directly by the issuer of the invoice. In any case, consumers are free to отказаться from the electronic or analog copy of the invoice.
So if he does not provide the data needed to issue it, the end consumer implicitly waives both the electronic copy and the paper copy of the invoice.

Mentore2 years agoGood morning,
change accountants and find one who knows online business well!!
There is no obligation to issue an invoice if you only sell online, unless it is only and exclusively upon request.
For the rest, there is the register of receipts.
Kind regards.
