Repeated feedback
Good morning,
I’ve noticed that there are professional sellers who have repeated feedbacks.
I happened to scroll through the feedbacks of two sellers, one of whom had more than 700 and the other more than 10000, and I realized that after about twenty feedbacks these started repeating over and over. In the end, out of all those feedbacks, the valid ones were definitely far fewer than the ones shown.
Besides, there was only one negative feedback, which brought the positive percentage down from 100% to 98%. A bit strange if you have 10000 positive feedbacks.
Has this ever happened to any of you?

Mentore3 years agoThe percentage refers only to those received in the last 12 months.
There are sales of useless items at ridiculous prices just to boost feedback, but it’s impossible to regulate them.

OP3 years agoThe problem is not the fact that they sell cheap stuff, but that the feedbacks are repeated identically.
Someone who only looks at the green dot doesn't realize that the feedbacks are repeated identically after a certain sequence.
I noticed this by observing a neutral feedback that, after about twenty positive feedbacks that followed it, was repeated identically. I then looked more closely at the feedbacks that followed that neutral one and they were identical to the previous ones. I'm not saying the same or similar, but identical.

Mentore3 years agoIt could be that they bought him a stock of items... if a buyer buys 10 or 100 items from him, he can leave 10 or 100 feedback entries, which for convenience, he leaves all identical!
I don't see anything strange... it's obvious then that of those 100, if left within a time span of 7 days, only ONE feedback is counted toward the total score!

Mentore3 years agoIf I have three accounts and I buy 50 photos from the first two at 10 cents (1 per week otherwise repeated feeds are not counted), I have 100 feeds in a year at a total cost of 10 euros (which I pay to myself). On this amount I will pay ebay the fixed fee on each transaction and the 5% commission, for a total of 35.50 euros (always for 100 feeds).
